<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder which can prevent a sheet from remaining in a device main body when a sheet loading means is pulled out of the device main body. SOLUTION: A cassette bucket is housed in a device main body 1 so as to be mountable and demountable. A separating roller 60 to send out a sheet P from the cassette bucket is arranged on one end side of the cassette bucket. The separating roller 60 is installed on a separating roller shaft 62 through a one-way clutch 50, and can freely turn against the separating roller shaft 62 by a play quantity (a clearance quantity in the rotational direction) of a projecting part 60a formed in the separating roller 60 and a projecting part 50a formed in the one-way clutch 50. Therefore, when the cassette bucket is pulled out of the device main body 1, even when the sheet P contacts with the separating roller 60, the separating roller 60 turns in the moving direction of the sheet P by a quantity that turn is allowed against the separating roller shaft 62, and does not apply force such as detaining the sheet P in the device main body 1.</p> |
