PURPOSE:To prevent interference with a conductor and a side wall of a core body coil storage groove and achieve a smooth coil winding operation by providing a conductor guide to a coil winding head and allowing a position for supplying the conductor through the conductor guide to be adjusted according to a shape of the coil storage groove. CONSTITUTION:A coil winding head 11 is constituted so that it can rotate on a rail 12. A conductor guide 16 is formed for example in cylindrical surface shape and a fluorine plastic coating is provided on the surface to enable a superconductive wire 14 to be smooth. The conductor guide 16 is fitted to the coil winding head 11. It moves in a specified helical shaped orbit along with the coil winding head 11. It is constituted so that the position and direction of the conductor guide 16 can be adjusted within a specified range by an adjusting mechanism 16a. By adjusting the adjusting mechanism 16a properly, supply position of the superconductive wire 14 to a coil storage groove of a coil container 6 is changed, thus enabling interference between the superconductive wire 14 being wound and a plasma vacuum container 3 which is a core body or a side wall 6a of a coil storage groove of the coil container 6 to be avoided. |
