PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device that is simple, highly reliable, and inexpensive, which when locked can be isolated mechanically from a device locking it. SOLUTION: A rotating spiral drive member 6 moves a sliding door to a closed position by means of its rotation, and in this case a nut assembly 14 advances along the rotating spiral drive member 6 and approaches a lock actuator pin 33 extending from a lock actuator cam 31. Continued rotation of the rotating spiral drive member 6 forces the pin 33 to enter a clearance in a toggle lever fork 19, causes the pin 36 extending from an actuator arm 35 to move between the two teeth 39 of a lock fork 37, locks a lock shaft 43 in a lock position via the toggle lever 19, the actuator arm 35, the pin 36, the lock fork 37, and the like, and rotates a lock pole 46 to a position behind an extension 13 attached to a hanger 12. Therefore, the lock pole 46 and the extension 13 can firmly hold the door 3 in a closed position. |
