<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a sleeve ghost by holding at least a base substance and a resin covering layer formed of a specified resin composition on the surface of the base substance on a developer carrier. SOLUTION: The developer carrier is constituted so that at least its surface may be the covering layer having a conductive resin composition at least incorporating a urethane resin, a quaternary ammonium salt compound which itself has positive electrification property to iron powder, and conductive substance. Namely, the resin covering layer 1 formed on the cylindrical base substance 5 made of metal, etc., is formed of the resin composition incorporating the urethane resin as a binding resin 3 on the outer periphery of the base substance 5. The conductive substance 2 is dispersed in the resin covering layer 1. By using the urethane resin incorporating the quaternary ammonium salt compound which itself has the positive electrification property to the iron powder as the binding resin being coating film forming material, the positive triboelectrification property of the binding resin itself is improved.</p> |
