The glazing has a holding structure carrying fire protection screens (2). Each protection screen has two glass screens (13, 14), which are placed at a distance from each other in parallel and connected with each other by an edge compound (15). The edge compound rebounces relative to abutting edges (16, 17) of the glass screens by forming a groove (12) in the protection screens. A connecting element (11) designed as a spring is inserted in the groove in a form-fit manner for connecting the protection screens and/or for fastening each protection screen to the holding structure. The connecting element is made of wood or wood composite. |
