PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a control system for a variable displacement type pump utilizing advantages and simplicity of a linear primary dynamic system capable of eliminating overshoot and need of a relief valve. SOLUTION: The device and the method are provided for controlling delivery pressure of a variable displacement type pump. The device and method include a swash plate pivotally installed on the pump, a control servo which can be actuated to increase the angle of the swash plate to the pump, an energization servo which can be actuated to reduce the angle of the swash plate relative to the pump, a servo valve having an output port hydraulically connected to the control servo, a bypass passage having a first end part connected to a delivery port of the pump and a second end part connected to the energizing servo, and a method to control the servo valve as a function of the delivery pressure of the pump. |
