<p>PURPOSE:To perform efficient denitration by mixing both excited NH3 which is previously generated by allowing NH3-containing gas to be projected with light in a range within 190-300mm wavelength and its dissociation radicals with NOX-containing exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:NH3-containing gas flow 6 is introduced into a reaction cell 3 and radiated with light in a range within 190-300mm wavelength with an eximer laser 4 to generate excited NH3 and its dissociation radicals and thereafter these are mixed with NOX-containing exhaust gas 8 in a gas mixer 7. Decomposition reaction of NOX in which the radicals participate is caused in the gas mixer 7, and NOX is efficiently removed.</p> |
