Production of candles in containers using finished candles sealed in with molten wax. Containers and candles are transported at the circumferences of two wheels at different levels in a manner that allows the candles to be centered over a container. In the centering process the base of the candle is passed over a heated plate (not shown) to make it tacky so that it stays in position as piston pushes it into the container. This last process is the principal novelty of the equipment. Molten wax is then poured around the candle until only the wick protrudes. Another construction is shown in which containers and candles are transported in parallel linear paths so that a number of assemblies can be made simultaneously. The assembly could also be integrated into the candle making process.
