PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal that provides additional functions which can be used frequently and has a high utility value. SOLUTION: The portable terminal comprises a receiving means for receiving a call control signal, a mode selector for allowing a user to select one of a plurality of operation modes, and a control means for, when a specific mode is selected by the mode selector, detecting a specific time, and based on the detection, inactivating reception of the call control signal in the receiving means during a prescribed time period starting from the specific time.
