A signal (HDK) in proportion to an accelerator pedal's position passes to an electronic gearbox control (EGS) storing gearshift programs (SKL,SKLred) with gearshift mapping. Reduction in engine torque is accounted for in a gearshift program selection routine, so that in a quasi-stationary condition and during an approximately full load operation an engine torque reduction factor (kMOMred) acts as an effective variable for selecting the gearshift program. |
