<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of suppressing increase of dimension of a product. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit of the air conditioner is provided with an indoor heat exchanger, a front drain pan 81, a rear drain pan 82, and a communicating passage 83. The indoor heat exchanger has at least a second indoor heat exchanger and a first indoor heat exchanger arranged in the front and rear. The front drain pan 81 is arranged below the second indoor heat exchanger to receive drain water. The rear drain pan 82 is arranged below the first indoor heat exchanger to receive drain water. The communicating passage 83 communicates the front drain pan 81 with the rear drain pan 82 in only either of each right side end of the front drain pan 81 and the rear drain pan 82 or its vicinity or each left side end or its vicinity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
