PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas detector capable of preventing water that has intruded therein through a sound release hole from being accumulated therein.SOLUTION: A portable gas detector 1 includes a vibrating plate 8 that is disposed in a vibrating plate chamber 232 inside a gas detector main body 1a to generate sound, and a sound release hole 9 that is open toward outside and is formed to be in communication with a sound release hole-side space 233 located on a sound release hole 9 side of the vibrating plate chamber 232 relative to the vibrating plate 8. A lower end 9a of the sound release hole 9 is positioned lower than a lower end 233a of the sound release hole-side space 233.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
