The present invention relates to a plant for purifying water, wherein said plant comprises at least one main and one additional vertical and cylindrical electro-chemical cells. These cells contain coaxial electrodes made of an electrolysis non-soluble material as well as diaphragms made of a ceramic containing zirconium, aluminium and yttrium oxides. This plant also comprises a vessel with a catalyst, wherein said vessel is mounted on the water discharge duct from the main cell. The plant further includes a drain outlet connected to the outlet of the cathode chamber in the main cell, while the outlet of the anode chamber in the additional cell is connected to the inlet of the cathode chamber in the main cell. This plant finally comprises a cylindrical water-tight floater having a tangential inlet for the water to be treated that is connected to the outlet of the cathode chamber in the additional cell. The clarified-water outlet of the floater is connected to the inlet of the anode chamber in the main cell, while the upper drain outlet of said floater is connected via a flow regulator to the inlet of the anode chamber in the addtional cell. |
