PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain valve device which can prevent a drain valve from being carried away for amusement, which can be provided with a hair catcher, and which enables the drain valve and the hair catcher to be cleaned with ease. SOLUTION: This drain valve device comprises a drain tube 12 which is provided with an overflow water inflow hole 23, and the drain valve 34 for opening/closing a drain inlet 22 which is provided at the upper end of the drain tube 12. A locking hole 78 is formed in a sliding member 72 which is provided on the hair catcher 52. When the drain valve 34 is lifted, it is locked to an upper edge of the inflow hole 23 so as to prevent the coming-off of the drain valve 34. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
