PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystalline polyester resin composition having excellent molding stability for suppressing generation of unfilling during molding and excellent in dimensional stability and surface smoothness and a molded article containing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid crystalline polyester resin composition containing 100 pts.wt. of a liquid crystalline polyester (A) by polymerizing p-hydroxybenzoic acid and 4,4'-dihydroxybiphenyl, hydroquinone as a diol-based raw material and terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid as a dicarboxylic acid-based raw material and having melting viscosity of 5 to 15 Pa s at the melting point +20°C and shear rate of 1000/sec. and 10 to 100 pts.wt. of a filler (B) and having absolute value of change rate of melting viscosities of 15% or less of the liquid crystalline polyester resin composition at the melting point of the liquid polyester +20°C and shear rate of 1000/sec. 5 minutes and 30 minutes after melting retaining the liquid crystalline polyester resin composition at the melting point of the liquid crystalline polyester +20°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
