PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video receiver capable of displaying a channel selection program which displays contracted videos of plural first broadcast programs, and when any first broadcast program is selected, displaying a video of the selected first broadcast program.SOLUTION: The video receiver comprises: a broadcast wave reception section 23 that receives a video content including plural first broadcast programs and a channel selection program for displaying contracted videos of the plural first broadcast programs; and a control section 21 that controls to perform, in the channel selection mode for displaying a channel selection program, a cursor-video composition processing to compose an image of a cursor indicating one of the videos of the plural first broadcast programs included in the channel selection program on the video of the channel selection program and to output the composed video to an external video display device, and a mode switch processing, when receiving a viewing request of the first broadcast program in the channel selection mode, to identify the first broadcast program indicated by the cursor and to switch the video the identified first broadcast program to an ordinary mode to output to a TV 60. |
