PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light radiation device capable of radiating light in a radiation intensity distribution which rises steeply to a rectangular radiation area.SOLUTION: A light radiation device for radiating light to a rectangular radiation area on a radiation target, comprises: plural light emission elements which are arranged on a substrate in a two-dimensional state; a lens unit for molding the light emitted from the respective light emission elements into light having a predetermined spread angle; a light guide member which comprises a mirror surface which is formed to surround the optical axes of the plural light emission elements in a rectangular state, and mixing the light emitted from the lens unit and then guiding the light; and an opening restriction comprising a rectangular opening in which, the optical axis of the light guide member is a center thereof, and disposed between the light guide member and the radiation target. The mirror surface is inclined with a predetermined angle smaller than the spread angle, to the optical axis of the light guide member so as to spread to the radiation target. At least a part of light emitted from the lens unit is reflected on the mirror surface, then passes the vicinity of an end surface part of an opening of the opening restriction, then enters the radiation area almost vertically.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
