PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of wire winding work to a pipeline, in a pipeline reinforcement device and method.SOLUTION: A pipeline reinforcement device includes: a wire winding jig 11 arranged at the outer peripheral part of a pipeline T into a ring shape, and winding a wire W around the outer periphery of the pipeline T in a spiral manner; a second drive device 32, as a wire winding device, winding the wire W around the wire winding jig 11; and a first drive device 31, as a wire taking-up device, winding the wire W around the outer peripheral surface of the pipeline T by taking up part of the wire W wound around the outer periphery of the pipeline T in the spiral manner by the wire winding jig 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
