Adjustable supports for road plates between railway tracks

A system for providing a roadway over railway/tram tracks has telescopic supports erected between the rails and onto which are bolted the roadway metal plates (2). The supports have vertical flanges with U-shaped tops and with extending plates held between the insides of the tops and round rod guides welded to the inside of the U-profiles. The extended sections are secured by screw fasteners and have fitting holes for securing the plates. The sections have shaped lower supports which rest on the base profiles of the rails and on the ground each side of the tracks.
