PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting material for sensing organic matter, with which change of a fluorescent color is clearly recognized by visual inspection.SOLUTION: In a light-emitting material for sensing organic matter comprising fine particles of a clay compound and a fluorescent compound which is an organic compound and is intercalated between layers of the fine particles of the clay compound, the fluorescent compound forms an excimer, an exciplex, in response to external stimulation by addition of an organic solvent, and changes the fluorescent color so that the fluorescence wavelength shifts by several tens of nanometers or more, and the change of the fluorescent color can be clearly recognized by visual inspection and can be discriminated by photographing using a photographing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
