The projectile weapon, comprising a bolt (1) inside a fragmentation hammer weight (2) in a cylindrical shell (4), has the body of the bolt made from a series of sections (11a - 11c) of increasing diameter from the rear to the front, forming support shoulders (12a, 12b) between them. The hammer weight has a cavity corresponding in shape to the body of the bolt, i.e. with sections (21a - 21c) of increasing diameter, with thrust shoulders (22a, 22b) where they adjoin. The hammer weight is made from a relatively ductile material such as annealed brass or copper so that on impact it thrusts against the bolt and splays progressively.
