A delivery item posture altering device and a delivery item automatic feeding device are provided to increase layout freedom of the devices and to prevent an accumulation defect of delivery items by keeping a horizontal state of the delivery item through a delivery item rotary unit, and ordering the position of the delivery item through a position adjusting unit. A delivery item posture altering device(1) comprises an inlet transfer unit(10), a delivery item rotary unit(20), a position adjusting unit(30), and an outlet transfer unit(40). The inlet transfer unit carries a delivery item(M) in a horizontal state. The delivery item rotary unit rotates the delivery item at a predetermined angle while keeping the horizontal state of the delivery item. The position adjusting unit orders the position of the delivery item. The outlet transfer unit carries out the delivery item in a changed direction different from the introduced direction of the delivery item. The position of the delivery item is changed while the delivery item is transferred on a transfer path in a horizontal state. |
