<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding whose moldability and solvent extractability are optimized, and to provide a method for producing a sintered compact obtained by firing the molding. <P>SOLUTION: The molding is obtained by molding a kneaded product containing a sinterable ceramics and an organic binder, wherein the organic binder contains a tackifier and a thermoplastic resin. The tackifier is one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of an aromatic petroleum resin, a copolymeric petroleum resin, an alicyclic petroleum resin, an aliphatic petroleum resin, a terpene resin, an alkylphenol resin, a cumarone-indene resin, a rosin base resin and a maleic acid based resin.
