PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saw cutting determination order which reduces the segment bend amount after hot saw cutting.SOLUTION: A saw cutting determination order for hot saw cutting of a billet rolled into a product shape on a shape steel manufacturing line into a product dimension includes the actual measurement of the width direction temperature distribution of a billet immediately after rolling finish in a longitudinal direction, extraction of a segment saw cutting order in the billet and a segment length, calculation of a temperature distribution upon saw cutting for each segment from actually measured temperature results, calculation of the bend amount of each segment on the basis of the calculated temperature distribution upon saw cutting, comparison of the calculated bend amount of each segment with a predetermined allowed bend amount, and such a replacement of the segment saw cutting order that the bend amount of each segment may fall within a range of the allowed bend amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
