PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device, a control method, and a program that can notify a user of the difference of resolution if the resolution of image data, an object transmitted to a sink device is different from the resolution of image data that can be transmitted to the sink device.SOLUTION: A communication device 100 includes: transmission means for transmitting image data recorded in a recording medium to an external apparatus; determination means for determining whether or not the external apparatus is a recording device for recording the image data transmitted by the transmission means; comparison means for comparing the resolution of the image data stored in the recording medium with the resolution of image data the transmission means can transmit and determining whether they are different or not if the external apparatus is the recording device; and notification means for notifying a user of warning if the external apparatus is the recording device and the resolution of the image data recorded in the recording medium is different from the resolution of the image data the transmission means can transmit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
