Washing installation for vehicles - incorporates portal which can move rotating brushes along vehicle sides

The vehicle washing installation has a portal with an upper transverse member set at an angle to the vehicle to be washed. The portal (1) is movable along the length of the vehicle. Two rotating brushes (16,17) mounted on vertical axes and controlled by counterweights (20,21) move along each side of the vehicle from a start position back to a new start position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vehicle washing installation which does not require special equipment to return the brushes to a start position.
