<p>PURPOSE: To improve the fusion bonding accuracy of a joint to a tube on the basis of a heat pattern corresponding to the type by automatically discriminating the type of the joint. CONSTITUTION: An electric fusion bonding apparatus for the connecting surface to a resin tube, which supplies power to a heater embedded in a resin joint and connects it to the receptacle of the joint, comprises a heat pattern selecting recess to allow a movable terminal for discriminating the type of the joint to telescopically protrude to a connector 15 and to engage the movable terminal along the axial central direction of the tube at the end face of the receptacle of the joint, and correcting means for detecting the maximum energy from the start of fusion bonding at a time difference at a controller 40 to correct the heat pattern set on the basis of the energy and the difference.</p> |
