PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for gene abnormality detection, by which a cDNA of a green fluorescent protein(GFP) is combined with a DNA having a doubt of abnormality in a gene to express a protein, the mobility of a fluorescent band is analyzed by an electrophoresis method so as to simply detect the mutation of the DNA in a protein level. SOLUTION: This method for gene abnormality detection is characterized in that a normal DNA or its fragment in which a gene DNA or its fragment is known, a DNA or its fragment having a doubt of abnormality in the gene DNA or its fragment and a recombinant DNA containing a cDNA of a green fluorescent protein(GFP) are constructed, respectively, these recombinant DNAs are expressed to give a protein and the abnormality of gene is detected by difference in mobility of the fluorescent band of the protein by an electrophoresis method. |
