<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary saw extremely reduced in noise, and an electromotive tool using it. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotary saw having a large number of teeth provided to its disc-shaped base plate 10 along the circumferential edge thereof, a slit 14 is provided to a part of the base plate to be filled with a viscoelastic material and a means for preventing the viscoelastic material from falling off from the slit is provided.
