<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and a control method thereof capable of transferring photographed video data to an external printer for printout and also allowing the external printer to print out while attaching modification information to the data. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that the printer 220 prints out an image imaged by an imaging section 211, when an input section 215 gives an instruction of form print to an image processing section 214, the image processing section 214 generates an image resulting from attaching a modification frame to the imaged image.
