PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power supply system which can restrain the reduction of power conversion efficiency while performing economic charging.SOLUTION: The power supply system includes: a power converter 300 which performs bidirectional power exchange between commercial power and a power storage system; a control unit 400 which controls the operation of the power converter 300; a rectifier circuit 60 which rectifies the output of the commercial power at a non-blackout time, to supply power to a control unit 66 of the control unit 400; a backup battery unit 72 which, in place of the rectifier circuit 60 at the blackout, supplies power to the control unit 66; and an auxiliary power unit 70 which charges and discharges the backup battery unit 72. The auxiliary power unit 70 execute charging the backup battery unit 72 preferentially in a midnight power time zone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
