PURPOSE:To easily grasp the remaining number of times of image production until the end of the service life of a photosensitive body by displaying a toner cartridge which is mounted among plural toner cartridge according to a signal from a cartridge identifying means. CONSTITUTION:The identification signal generated by an identification detecting means 202 provided to a device housing and an identification detecting means 206a provided to the toner cartridge 162a (162b-) is sent to a control means 220. A display means 200 includes lamps 222, 224, and 226 provided to a console panel. A control means 220 turns on the lamp 222 when the cartridge 162a is mounted in a toner storage chamber and also turns on lamps 224 and 226 corresponding to the mounted cartridge similarly. |
