PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting for plate material capable of fitting a body to be fitted to a plate material with the excellent appearance, and to provide the fitting structure of the fitting for plate material. SOLUTION: The fitting 1 for plate material is provided with a receiver member 2 to be inserted into a through hole 8b of the plate material 8 to be fitted to a wall surface 7 so as to be fixed to the wall surface 7 and a support member 3 to be fitted to the receiver member 2 from a surface side of the plate material 8 for fixation so as to cover the through hole 8b. A front surface part of the support member 3 is provided with a projection part 3d as a fitting part 3e to be fitted in the recessed part 5c of the body 5 to be fitted.
