PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arouse the attention of a driver just before a temporary stop line and to stop at a stop line without forgetting by lighting a display lamp provided on the temporary stop line only when a car approaches a temporary stop position. SOLUTION: This display device 1 of temporary stop provided on the roadway of a non-priority road r1 crossing the priority road R of a main line is provided with a means for sensing a car C1 a before the temporary stop line L1 by a sensor 2 and provided with the means for lighting the display lamp 3 by signals sensed by the sensor 2. In this case, a position for providing the sensor 2 is present 30 m for instance before the temporary stop line L1 , however, the position can be optionally set as needed. Further, the display lamp 3 is provided on the stop line L1 . Then, when a laser beam is interrupted by the car and a switch is turned ON by the signals sensed by the sensor 2, the lamp is lighted and the temporary stop line L1 emits light and comes to the surface. |
