PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of reducing pressure loss to occur when exhaust gas passes through a heat exchange part.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 1 for purifying exhaust gas exhausted from an engine 2 includes a DOC 5 arranged in the middle of an exhaust pipe 3 connected to the engine 2, a heat exchanger 4 arranged inside the exhaust pipe 3 on the upstream side of the DOC 5, and a chemical heat storage device 20 arranged outside the exhaust pipe 3 around the heat exchanger 4 for generating heat to heat the heat exchanger 4. In the exhaust pipe 3 on the upstream side of the DOC 5, a diameter enlarged part 3a is provided which is enlarged conically toward the DOC 5. The heat exchanger 4 is arranged inside the diameter enlarged part 3a, and formed so that its cross section area is larger along the diameter enlarged part 3a being enlarged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
