A safety device for pipes, hoses, containers, vessels, boilers and the like is intended to retain forces occurring under leaks or bursts of high pressure fluid. The pipe or vessel is surrounded by removable longitudinal and/or transverse elements which accept the transverse or longitudinal forces and/or deformations which occur as a result of a crack or burst. Used for any plant containing high pressure fluids, such as chemical or process plants or nuclear power plants.
