PURPOSE:To easily compose plural beautiful images by putting plural pieces of image information together and forming a multicolor image on an image carrier on the basis of the composite information. CONSTITUTION:The 1st image information sent from an image input part IN is converted by an image processing part TR into the 1st image data suitable for recording and the data is stored in an image storage part ME. Then, the 2nd image information to be put together with the 1st image information is sent from the image input part IN to an image processing part TR and converted into the 2nd image data. The 2nd image data and the 1st image data stored in the image storage part ME are put together by an image composition part CO into data having multicolor components and an image recording part RE forms a multicolor image on the basis of the composite data. When the image data is inputted to the image storage part ME, image processing is carried out through the image processing part TR if necessary. Consequently, no defects such as a trace and a position shift is caused in the process of composition, images are sharp and beautiful, and the composing operation is facilitated. |
