<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission system, apparatus, and method capable of properly transmitting only a required image to a particular apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A second storage section 114 stores possessor information of an external device 11 capable of transmitting, by radio, image data imaged by an imaging section 110. A photographer images image data of an object and stores the image data in a first storage section 113. Then, a recognition section 115 collates the possessor information with information of the object in the image data and a radio communication section 116 transmits, by radio, the image data stored in the storage device to the external device 119 under the condition that the possessor information is coincident with the information of the object on the basis of a result of the collation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
