PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation of a fueling instruction, and prevent a fueling error from occurring, and in addition, increase safety for a POS system which is used at a service station. SOLUTION: This POS system is equipped with a plurality of meters 22, and a POS device 21 which administers the meters. The POS device gives a permission for a fueling to all meters corresponding with a designated fuel kind when the fuel kind is designated, and one from among the meters which have received the permission for the fueling is selected as a selected meter, and when the nozzle is picked up, meters other than the selected meter are pump-locked. Then, when the fueling by the selected meter is completed, the selected meter is pump-locked. Also, the POS device gives the permission for a fueling again to all meters corresponding to the designated fuel kind when the nozzle is put down with zero fueling amount after the nozzle of the selected meter has picked up. |
