PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoisting traction machine capable of rotating a loading sheave by a driving means provided with a drive source such as an electric driver with simple constitution while maintaining the constitution of a conventional chain lever hoist. SOLUTION: Power from the electric driver 62 is transmitted from an input shaft 65 to a first hub 26 through a worm gear 63 and a worm wheel 31. The power from the electric driver 62 can thereby be transmitted to the first hub 26 from an orthogonal direction to the advancing/receding direction of the first hub 26 with simple constitution, and operation based on the power from the electric driver 62 can be easily realized at a low cost while maintaining the performance of the chain lever hoist by improving the existing constitution of the chain lever hoist.
