A light emitting device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a light emitting structure, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The light emitting device further comprises a support structure including first and second metal bulks and an insulation portion, and a substrate. Each of the first and second metal bulks includes upper areas and lower areas. The substrate includes a first line portion and a second line portion which are electrically connected with the first metal bulk and the second metal bulk, respectively. Spacing between the first line portion and the second line portion is greater than spacing between upper areas. According to the present invention, a light emitting device can be protected from cracks or damages. Also, it is possible to prevent the first and second metal bulks from being short-circuited with each other by an adhesive substance such as a solder, etc., when the first and second metal bulks are mounted on the substrate. Therefore, electrical stability of the light emitting device can be guaranteed. |
