PURPOSE:To improve the strength by forming a rib of a skin member by forming a groove which leads from a contact surface with an insidee skin member to the part immediately before the contact surface with an outside skin member, onto a core member consisting of a plastic foamed body. CONSTITUTION:A core member 2 consisting of a plastic foamed body is set in a mold, and liquid synthetic resin is poured into the gap between the core member 2 and a mold surface, and hardened, and a skin 14 having a prescribed thickness is formed. On the core member 2, a plurality of grooves which lead from the contact surface with the inside skin member 14 to the part immediately before the contact surface with the outside skin member 14 are formed in the horizontal direction, and the liquid synthetic resin is poured into the grooves, together with the groove, and hardened, and a rib 12 is formed on the skin 14. Therefore, a rib can be installed easily onto the skin member 14, and the strength of a bumper can be increased. |
