PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the abnormality of a voltage sensor which detects the voltage of each part, in a load driving circuit which has a converter and a battery for supplying load with power. SOLUTION: A voltage sensor monitoring method includes a step (S104) of computing the VBL deviation being the voltage difference between the voltage VB of a battery and the input-side voltage VL of a converter in case that it is being boosted by the converter, a step(S108) of stopping the boosting control by the converter when the VBL deviation is at or over a reference value(YES in S106), a step (S114) of computing a VBL deviation, a VBH deviation, and a VHL deviation, based on the voltage VB of a battery, the input-side voltage VL of the converter, and the output-side voltage VH of the converter, and a step(S118) of judging that the two voltage sensors used for computing the smallest deviation among the three deviations are normal, and judges that the residual one voltage sensor is abnormal, when all the three deviations are at or under thresholds (NO in S116).
