Swimming gloves which are made rubber or plastic have flexible webs (2) located between the outstretched fingers and thumb. This provision increases the total area of the swimmers hands. It is thus possible to produce a bigger thrust from the arm motion. At the back of these gloves, two air chambers (3) are provided so that extra buoyancy is produced. The gloves also have a number of small holes so that any water that gets inside can drain off.
|
