#CMT# #/CMT# The filter has a case constituted by a receptacle and a cover integrated with respect to each other by connection elements, where the case receives a filter cartridge. The connection elements include a sealing joint (19) placed between the receptacle and the cover. A set of deformable mechanical parts e.g. clips (20) fixes the cover to the receptacle by exerting a pressure on the joint, where the clip is made of steel. The clip deforms to slide the cover around the receptacle during a pedestrian impact. The joint is inserted between a wall of the receptacle and a wall (8) of the cover. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Air filter for absorbing an impact of pedestrian to a bonnet of internal combustion of motor vehicle (claimed) e.g. car, during an accidental collision. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The filter permits the connection elements to flexibly react to pedestrian impact without generating break or rupture of mechanical parts.
