PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manufacture for surely removing contamination or abnormal protrusions that exist on the surface of a magnetic disk. SOLUTION: Through an air vent 7, gas is force-fed into or sucked from between a magnetic disk 1 and a pressure plate 2, thereby repeating contact and separation between the two. Thus, the contamination existing on the magnetic disk can be removed without fail by repeating the contact/separation between the magnetic disk and the pressure plate, so that a highly reliable magnetic disk can be obtained.
