PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose for a fire hydrant with favorable workability and small resistance when dragging the hose on a road surface in a state filled with water in a hose having shape retainability using a rigid bristle for a weft. SOLUTION: In the hose, a cylindrical woven fabric 2 is formed by cylindrically weaving warps 4 comprising multifilament yarn of synthetic fiber and wefts 5 having bristles 5a of a synthetic resin or metal wires as a part or the whole by a twill weave wherein the warps 4 are lengthily raised on a surface so that the wefts 5 are not exposed on the surface, and a flexible and watertight film is formed on an inner face of the cylindrical woven fabric 2. A single fiber 6 composing the warp 4 substantially matches with a longitudinal direction of the hose in a surface of the hose.
