A linear amplifier circuit includes a multi-stage power amplifier that can amplify an input signal to produce an output signal, and a gain feedback control circuit coupled with the output and the input of the multi-stage power amplifier. An adjacent-channel leakage feedback control circuit can detect the output signal at the output of the multi-stage power amplifier and reduce adjacent-channel leakage in the output signal over an output power range based on the detected output signal. |

1. An amplifier circuit comprising:
a main power amplifier coupled to a first matching circuit which matches the amplified signals from the main power amplifier and produces a first amplified signal; an auxiliary power amplifier coupled to a second matching circuit which matches the signals from the auxiliary power amplifier and produces a second amplified signal; wherein the main power amplifier and auxiliary power amplifier are arranged in parallel to coordinate the amplification tasks of the amplifier circuit; a biasing control circuit which activates the auxiliary power amplifier when the output signal is at low power; a matching and power combining circuit configured to receive the first and second amplified signals and combine the power of the first and second amplified signals; and a sensing circuit configured to receive the output signal of the matching and power combing circuit and detect the power, gain and phase control of the output signal. |
