<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing container with a sliding bottom lid, which is capable of reliably confirming that the remaining amount of a content in a container body is equal to or less than a predetermined amount without impairing its light blocking properties, reliably preventing quality deterioration or reduction caused by the light, and preventing any inconvenience caused by run-out of the content during the use thereof in advance. <P>SOLUTION: The dispensing container with a sliding bottom lid has a container body fitted with the sliding bottom lid in a barrel in a tightly slidable manner along the axial direction, and a pump assembled and fixed to an upper end opening part of the container body and having a nozzle head forming a spout. The light blocking properties are given to a substantially entire area of the barrel except a viewing window part arranged at a predetermined height of the barrel. The sliding bottom lid elevated to the position at the predetermined height as a predetermined amount of the content is consumed is visible from the viewing window.
