<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and, a process cartridge having such durability as to stably realize high-quality images over a long period of time by stable transfer performance even when applied to a smaller high-speed image forming process. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus using a normal developing system includes: at least an image carrier; a charging means to charge the image carrier; an electrostatic latent image forming means to form an electrostatic latent image on the charged surface of the image carrier with resolution of ≥1,200 dpi; and a developing means to develop the electrostatic latent image as a toner image, wherein a time T<SB>ed</SB>(ms) in which an arbitrary position on the image carrier moves from a position just opposite to the electrostatic latent image forming means to a position just opposite to the developing means and a transit time t<SB>T</SB>(ms) of the image carrier satisfy the expression (A): T<SB>ed</SB><t<SB>T</SB><1.3×T<SB>ed</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
